There are two types of onyx install methods: dry and wet.
Onyx Tiles Slabs use dry construction when the stone used on walls, and the thickness of the onyx must be at least 1.8 cm, so that iron parts can be added to the back of the stone to ensure that the heavy stone can be firmly fixed on the wall.
When Onyx Tiles is applied to the floor, it is mostly use wet construction, and the thickness of the stone is about 2 cm. First, fully mix the cement and sand, and then spray a small amount of water into the mixture. Pay attention that the amount of water should not be too much. After spraying the water, continue to stir to ensure the uniform distribution of the cement, sand and water. Then spread the mixture evenly on the floor, then pave the onyx stone, adjust the level with a rubber hammer to ensure the flatness of the onyx floor tiles, and the installation completed after the cement dries.
Recommendation: Generally speaking, light-colored onyx is not recommended to be used in bathroom spaces, as the color change will be more obvious after long time using. In addition, when onyx is used in a humid environment, it is best to do anti-slip treatment and cut anti-slip grooves on the surface of the stone.
